I went to see "Five Women..." because my friend was in it.
But what a great evening it was. I was sorry it wasn't running
longer so I could send my other friends. The dialogue was sharp
and witty -- a little psychology, a little
politics, a little romance, and many great barbs.
The cast may not yet be
"successful," but that just proves how many great
unappreciated actors there are
in NYC. It had all the finesse of a Broadway play,
and it was better than most.

"Five Women Wearing The Same Dress" review by Tracy Rawles
I expected to be humored by some lighthearted girlfriend talk and wise cracks. But real issues came up such as bigotry, family upsets, and hypocritical views told through the character's expressions with the most gut wrenching honesty in a way that I could relate. It was an unexpected surprise but a good surprise.
It was funny and thought provoking which left a lasting impression plus it held my attention. The cast, each one absolutely superb! To sum it up, it's great theater and it exceeded expectations. Not so easy to pull that off nowadays. "And wonderfully acted by The CBU Players under Susan's coaching and direction "
What a wonderfully directed play by Susan Campochiaro Confrey and well written by Mr. Alan Ball.
